St. Louis Native and PGA Professional Jay Delsing to Participate in 2026 100 Holes for Heroes Golf Marathon Benefiting PGA HOPE

 

SUNSET HILLS, Mo. — May 2026 — St. Louis native and PGA Professional Jay Delsing will join supporters, golfers, and community advocates at the 2026 100 Holes for Heroes Golf Marathon on Thursday, May 28 at Sunset Hills Country Club, helping raise critical funds for PGA HOPE and its mission to serve local military veterans.


The annual event, which runs from 5:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., challenges participants to complete 100 holes of golf in one day in support of the Gateway PGA Section PGA HOPE Veterans Programs.


Following a successful 2025 event that generated more than $60,000 in donations, organizers are looking to build even greater momentum in 2026.


Jay Delsing’s participation brings added visibility and excitement to a charitable event dedicated to honoring veterans through the game of golf. A respected PGA Professional and well-known St. Louis sports figure, Delsing’s support underscores the strong local commitment to those who have served.


“PGA HOPE continues to make a meaningful difference in the lives of veterans, and this event is a powerful way for the golf community to come together in support of that mission,” said PGA Hope Chairman Jon DePriest. “Having Jay Delsing participate helps shine an even brighter light on the importance of this cause.”


PGA HOPE — short for Helping Our Patriots Everywhere — is the flagship military program of the PGA of America REACH Foundation. The program introduces golf to veterans as a means to enhance their physical, mental, social, and emotional well-being.


The 100 Holes for Heroes Golf Marathon invites two-person teams to take on an endurance-style day of golf while fundraising for veteran programming. Participants will enjoy golf, carts, meals, beverages, and a swag bag, with a post-event gathering at the Sunset Hills Outdoor Bar to celebrate all players and supporters.


Teams are asked to commit to raising a minimum of $5,000 in pledges, with all donations supporting PGA HOPE Gateway. Organizers note that donations made to PGA HOPE are 100% tax deductible.


With only 16 team spots available, early registration is encouraged.
